ARTHUR L. GAYMAN, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Saint Anne Home. Born July 28, 1921, in Gales burg, Ill., Art retired from Prudential Insurance Company after 31 years of dedicated service where he held numerous sales and Management positions. Additionally, he was elected President of the International Association of Health Underwriters. He joined the 112th (Seabee) Construction Battalion in June of 1943 and saw duty at Pearl Harbor, Tinian-Saipan and Okinawa. He was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church. "He loved his family" which includes his wife of 44 years, Gloria (Schoberg) Blad-Gayman; daughters, Hollie Hepler, Barbara Hostetter, Sharon Breunlin, and Alison Pritz; son, David Gayman; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Service is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Trinity English Lutheran Church, 405 W. Wayne St., with visitation one hour prior to service. Private burial in Highland Cemetery, South Bend, Ind. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity English Lutheran Church or the . Arrangements by Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home.
