TIMOTHY A. GASE, 50, of Decatur, died on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at his residence. Born July 9, 1962, in Decatur, he was the son of Donald L. and Carol J. (Schuller) Gase. Tim was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Decatur. He formerly worked for Gold Shield for 25 years, and then employed by R.M. Landscaping, Decatur. He was a 1981 graduate of Bellmont High School. He is survived by his parents, Donald L. and Carol J. Gase of Bluftton; a son, Travis P. Gase of New Haven; a daughter Lyndsay M. Gase of Fort Wayne; two brothers, Stephen L. (Mary) Gase of Bluffton and Daniel L. Gase of Berne; a sister, Ann M. (Gase) Butler of Decatur; two grandchildren, Makenzie M. Gase of Woodburn and Tejae A. Gase of Fort Wayne; and his godchild, Ashton M. Butler of Decatur. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Decatur, with visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. in the St. Mary's Parish Hall. Visitation also from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home. Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to the family.
