GREG ANDERSON, 56, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013, at his residence. Born in Fort Wayne, Greg worked at the Walmart Distribution Center. He was an eclectic collector whose taste ran the gambit from boxes of all types, to NASCAR memorbilia, to Barbie Dolls, to Football Cards. One might even say he came close to being a hoarder. He enjoyed classic cars and vans and attended the Kruse Auto Auction regularly. A ride on a Harley Motorcycle wasn't out of the question either. When watching television, he was faithful in following NASCAR and the exploits of Gibbs on NCIS. Last but most importantly, he valued the time he spent with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Joy of Fort Wayne; daughters, Nikki (Billy) Fore of Fort Wayne and Sheena (Justin) Niles of Spencerville; grandchildren, Camron, Codie, Dakota, Justin Jr., Lilli, and Zoe; and stepfather, John Anderson of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by mother, Betty Anderson; and granddaughter, Kaitlin. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road. Calling is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
