Our son Michael graduated with Pat from St Charles and Dwenger and shared some good times hanging out with him during their freshman year at IU. The Dwenger IU group was greatly saddened by the loss of Pat. Know that your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers. We pray that God will hold you in the palm of His hand and will bring eternal rest and peace to Pat. God bless.

Pat has brought us all together in prayer and it is amazing to see how God is working in our lives. His great personality will be missed, and it was an honor to know such a great guy for as long as I did. I will not stop praying for the Porter family because I know God has a better plan for him in Heaven.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Porter family. I graduated from St. Charles (2007) and Bishop Dwenger (2011) with pat and was able to share some good memories with him. I was never really close to Pat, but he was always a nice guy, and I was very fortunate to know him. Mr. Porter, my prayers go out to you especially.
