ROBERT DAVID BRADFIELD, 71, of Yoder, passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 at Coventry Meadows. He was born Feb. 6, 1942 in Grand Rapids, Mich. a son of the late R. G. and Rose Bradfield. He was a graduate of South Side High School, a Navy Veteran, and was a retired Teamster and also worked as a heavy equipment operator with the IUOE local #103. He was a member of VFW #1421 and the Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his wife, Jeanine M. Bradfield of Yoder; children, Leeanna (Scott Davis) Bradfield of Waterloo, Lon (Lanell) Bradfield of Pennrose, Colo., and Andrew (Deborah) Bradfield of Lady Lake, Fla.; sister, Elizabeth (Roger) Kucher of Schaumburg, Ill.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John "Bill" Bradfield. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, (IN 46809). Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery. Preferred memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse and Hospice.
