CATHERINE JANTZ, 94, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 at Kingston at Dupont in Fort Wayne. Born in Czechoslovakia Catherine worked for May Company in Cleveland, Ohio for 30 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Surviving are her daughters, Shirley Olwine of Fort Wayne, and Janet (Bob) Einheit of Middleburg Heights, Ohio; sisters, Helen Ricco of Prairie City, Ore., and Ann Woznuk of Cleveland, Ohio; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mathias and Katarina Boehm; and husband, Albert Jantz. Service is 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with calling one hour prior. Rev. Steven Ahlersmeyer officiating. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne, Ind. Memorials may be made to the St. Peter's Lutheran School.
