JEANETTE L. BIERBAUM, 88, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at home with her family by her side. Born in Edgerton, she was a daughter of the late Cletus and Wilma Girardot. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, the Rosary Sodality, the Columbian Ladies. She retired from Bishop Dwenger High School after 12 years of service as a baker. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, John F. Bierbaum Sr.; sons, John F. (Susan Kahn) Bierbaum Jr., Charles (Suzanne) Bierbaum, David (Linda, dec.) Bierbaum, and Michael (Cathleen) Bierbaum; daughters, Sandra Smith, Marlene (Matthew) Campbell, Rita Bierbaum, and Dawn (Rich) Brown; brothers, Cletus Girardot, Gerald Girardot and Gregory Girardot; sisters, Dorothy Webb, Betty Gerardot, Bonnie Vedder, and Anna Mackin; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jessica Bierbaum; and siblings, L. Maxine Wyss, Joyce Webb, Carol Gill, and John Girardot. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with Rosary service at 4:30 p.m. Entombment in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
