ANITA M. WAGNER, 63, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Anita graduated high school in 1968 then went to serve in the U.S. Air Force. She was a published author and inspirational writer for more than 25 years and had many paintings displayed in the downtown Allen County Public Library. She had a passion for writing and enjoyed quilting and shopping. Surviving are her husband, Scott A. Wagner of Fort Wayne; son, Andy Wagner of Fort Wayne; daughters, Anastasia (Ben) Roberson of Evergreen, Colo. and Christina (Landall) Hinchcliff of Grover Hill, Ohio; six grandchildren; parents, Elmer and Patricia Lauer of Fort Wayne; brothers, Bill Lauer of Columbia City, Ken Lauer and Christopher Lauer, both of Fort Wayne; and sisters, Sue Didion, Rose Hearn, Teresa Wyss, and Barbara Lauer, all of Fort Wayne, and Kathy Miller of Chicago, Ill. Memorial service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with calling one hour prior.
