Combined service information. JANET E. KESSLER, 67, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014, in Fort Wayne. Born in Muncie, Ind., Janet worked as a school bus aid for special needs children for Fort Wayne Community Schools for 13 years. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church. One of her biggest loves was being a grandmother. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and loved animals. She was very talented and accomplished in quilting, sewing, stained glass, and cross stitch. She was also very passionate about the special needs kids she helped on the bus and her euchre club. Surviving are her daughter, Amy (Matt) Lutz of Westfield, Ind.; son, Matthew (Sheila) Kessler of Eugene, Ore.; daughter, Emily (Michael) Diettrich of Monclova, Ohio; grandchildren, Cate and Colby Lutz, Maddie and Finn Kessler, and Mallory, Drew, Owen, and Henry Diettrich; stepmother, Waunita Bunnell; and brother, Charles (Barbara) Bunnell of Springhill, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmer and Miriam Bunnell; husband, Stanley Kessler; grandmother, Grethel Mumau; and first husband, Lamoine Grow. "A special thanks to Parkview Hospice and mom and dad's nurses Christine and Hannah." Memorial service for both Janet and her late husband, Stanley, is 10 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at Covenant United Methodist Church, 10001 Coldwater Road, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Jan Funk officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road.
