STEPHEN THOMAS ELICK, 27, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. Born in Fort Wayne, Stephen was a student at Life Adult Day Academy. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and volunteered at Kate's Kart and Vera Bradley Foundation. Stephen enjoyed cars, trains, cooking, crafts, ceramics, fishing and swimming, and was an avid Brewers and Packers fan. Surviving are his mother, Annita Elick of Fort Wayne; father, David (Virginia) Elick of LaGrange; sister, Emily (Jacob) Almonrode of Fort Wayne; grandparents, Thomas and Annette Jones of Fort Wayne, and Marcelette Elick of Indianapolis; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with a Rosary at 4:30 p.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Life Adult Day Academy.
