AILEEN H. (BRADTMUELLER) WITTE, 91, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Lutheran Life Villages Pine Valley. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Adolph and Viola (Nuoffer) Bradtmu eller. She was a graduate of Concordia Lutheran High School and Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing. In 1947, she married Norman H. Witte, they lived in Decatur for 16 years before returning to Fort Wayne. She was an active member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She was a member of Northside Optimist Club and delivered Homebound Meals for 25 years. She is survived by her six children, Margaret (John) Mowery, Kenneth (Gail) Witte, Henry (Ruth) Witte, Edward (Doreen) Witte, Ruth (Douglas) Winicker, and Michael (Mary Ellen) Witte; sister, Norma (Guenther) Herzog; brother-in-law, Roland (Dorothy) Witte; sisters-in-law, Velma (Otis) Witte and Mary (Weldon) Bradtmueller; 20 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Norman H. Witte, in 2010; brother, Weldon Bradtmueller; and one grandchild. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Concordia Lutheran Church, 4245 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service. Calling also from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
