MARION L. DEBOLT, 81, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014. Born July 25, 1932, he was the son of Homer and Clara (Linn) DeBolt. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a graduate of International Business College. After working in a C.P.A. firm in Fort Wayne, he became associated with Adams Lumber Company, Decatur and then, in partnership with Clarence and Larry Bultemeier, formed "All American Homes." He served in various capacities there until his retirement in 1999. He received the "Sagamore of the Wabash" award upon his retiring signed by then Governor O'Bannon. Marion was a member of Risen Savior Lutheran Church. On Sept. 15, 1951, he married Miriam Weaver; she survives with three sons, Joseph (Gina) of Algonquin, Ill., Robert (Brenda) of Manchester, Mo. and Philip (Lois) of Fort Wayne. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Justin (Kristie), Lindsay (Steven) Sparks, Matthew (Taren), Michelle (William) Bostain, Ryan, and Marc; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Floyd (Marcella) of Bluffton. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald; and a baby sister, Esther. Funeral is 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 8010 W. Jefferson Blvd. There will be no public viewing but the family will receive callers from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road and one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Saturday, April 26, 2014.
