NEIL CHRISTOPHER KELTY, 23, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014, from injuries caused by a tragic bicycle accident in Indianapolis. He was born in Fort Wayne. Neil was a 2008 Carroll High School graduate and graduated from IU Kelley School of Business with honors in 2012, receiving a bachelors degree in economic consulting and public policy analysis. While at IU, Neil was very active in IUSA, and a resident assistant at McNutt. He interned at the RNC in Washington, D.C. and Courseload in Indianapolis, and was a product manager with PERQ. "He was an aspiring cyclist, supporter of walkable communities, always learning, reading, growing and a follower of Christ." He loved his family, summers spent at Lake Gage in Angola and was an avid Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Orioles fan who enjoyed umpiring at Wallen. Surviving are his fiancee, the love of his life, Kelsea Nicholson of Indianapolis; parents, Dr. Richard and Sandy Kelty; siblings, Stephanie Kelty, Nathan Kelty, Adam Kelty, Samantha Kelty, Loretta Kelty, and Ashlee Kelty, all of Fort Wayne; Kelsea's parents, Dan and Robin Nicholson of Rochester Hills, Mich.; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ken and Betty Haffner, and Ed and Loretta Kelty. Memorial service is 2 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2014, at Northview Church, 12900 Hazel Del Pkwy, Carmel, with calling two hours prior. Memorial calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2014, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne.
