DIANA M. SCOTT, 67, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. She was born in Fort Wayne. She married her beloved husband, Edward Scott in 1966 to become an Air Force wife. She followed wherever the Air Force sent her family. Diana served in the Air National Guard in New Mexico and California for eight years and was a member of the Girl Scouts of America. She was a family woman that cherished her grandchildren and enjoyed taking care of her family. She spent much of her time home schooling her grandchildren. Surviving are her daughter, Cynthia (Don) Ellis of Fort Wayne; and two grandchildren, Alexander Edward Ellis and Anna Elizabeth Ellis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald "Jerry" and Anna Belle Blaugh; and husband, Edward Scott. Service is 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, at Avalon Missionary Church, 1500 Lower Huntington Road, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Keith Koteskey officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014, at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
