DAVID THOMAS WEHRLE, 39, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at his home. He was a native and lifetime resident of Fort Wayne and attended Northrop High School. He was employed as a foreman with Treadway Pool and formerly worked at Grabill Cabinets and Coldwater Crossing Cinema. David's hobbies included fishing, woodworking, RC model cars, riding his motorcycle and tinkering with go carts. He also enjoyed going to Cedar Point at least twice a year. Surviving are his daughters, Brittney Marie Baxter Wehrle of Highland, Texas and Cassandra and Victoria Wehrle, both of Fort Wayne; father, David Lee Wehrle of Fort Wayne; mother, Lois Wehrle of Fort Wayne; sister, Angela T. Wehrle of Fort Wayne; grandfather, Thomas H. Biesiada of Fort Wayne; and nephew, Nathan B. Crosthwaite of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by grandmother, Lillian Joy Marie Biesiada; and grandparents, Thomas F. and Helen Y. Wehrle. Service is 3 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2014, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the education fund for the daughters of David T. Wehrle c/o David L. Wehrle.
