CLINTON J. KISER, 88, of New Haven, died Friday, May 16, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Kannapolis, N.C., he was the son of the late Clifford and Minerva Kiser. He was a member of New Horizons Fellowship Church, New Haven. Clinton served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired in 1988 as a teacher for Fort Wayne Community Schools, and also taught at Lakeville High School. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Wanda (Kaufman) Kiser; sons, Dean Kiser of New Haven, and Brent Kiser of Nashville, Tenn.; daughter, Marta (David) Schnelker of Fort Wayne; grandson, Stephen (Jessica) Schnelker. He was also preceded in death by six brothers and six sisters. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven.
