FRANKLIN CHANDLER, 80, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Hospice Home. He was a native of Marion, Ala., he was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War and retired from G.E. Company. Surviving are his wife, Alma J. Chandler; daughters, A. Gwen Earley, Vivian M. Chandler-Daniels and Teresa Chandler-Green; sisters, Rose Sanders, Emma Thomas, Lunette Crockett, Atline Caldwell, and Lottie Love; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and two brothers. Service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Faith United Methodist Church, 207 E. Dewald Ave. Calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Ellis Funeral Home. Burial in Marion National Cemetery. Send condolences at
