MARVIN ROBISON, 74, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Love-laceville, Ky., Marvin was a truck driver with Roadway Express for 32 years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Teamsters Local 214. He liked to play solitaire and pool, solve circle puzzles, care for his vegetable garden and watch T.V. westerns. Surviving are his wife, Shirley M. Robison of New Haven; son, Marty A. (Beverly) Robison of Fort Wayne; daughter, Sonya Taylor of Zumbrota, Minn.; son, Jimmy Robison of Fort Wayne; daughter, Connie K. (Brent Turrin) Robison of Fort Wayne; stepson, Carlis (Patti) Hinkle of Limestone, Tenn.; stepson, Randy (Pam) Redding of Convoy, Ohio; stepson, Scott (Hope) Redding of Middlepoint, Ohio; step-daughter, Teresa (Eddy) Rigsby of Parrottsville, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; three children close to Marvin's heart, Dawn (Jeff) Miller of Fort Wayne; Paul (Heather) Hicks of New Haven; Betty (Todd) Hagadorn of New Haven. He was preceded in death by his parents, Connie and Onie (Hawes) Robison; son, Roger D. Robison; brother, Bill Robison; brother, Norman Robison; brother, Wayne Robison; sister, Brenda Myrick. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
