DOROTHY L. "DOTTIE" DONLAN, 88, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Saint Anne Rehabilitation Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Oak Park, Ill., Dorothy work ed as a nurse for many years after raising her four sons. She was a member of the Fort Wayne Women's Club, various bridge clubs, and served as a volunteer for Visiting Nurse Hospice. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed painting, gardening, and playing bridge. Surviving are her sons, Michael (Jane) Donlan and Dennis (Mary) Donlan, both of Fort Wayne, Patrick (Cindy) Donlan of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Timothy (Susan) Donlan of Phoenix, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Donlan; parents, John H. and Marion Weston; and one brother. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2014, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Fr. James Kumbakkeel officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2014, at D.O.
