TYLER R. HUNTER, 26, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014, in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Tyler loved his work as a mechanic with Fort Wayne Transmission. Tyler completed the first year of training with the Allen County Police Cadets, he was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and music, and was a big fan of Notre Dame football and the Indianapolis Colts. Surviving are his, parents, David and Jayna Hunter of Fort Wayne; sister, Ambuhr (Chris) Steger of Huntertown; grandparents, David and Sheril Shuler of Fort Wayne; grandfather, Richard Hunter of Fort Wayne; aunt, Dawn Edmonds of Fort Wayne: uncle and aunt, Richard and Cheri Hunter of Bremen, Ind.; girlfriend, Kirsti Ude of Fort Wayne; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Hunter; and aunt, Leisa Smith. Service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2014, at the funeral home.
