CLIFTON EUGENE JARRETT, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014, at his home. Born Sept. 22, 1923, in El Dorado, Kan., he was a son of the late Thomas and Addie Jarrett. He was a World War II Army veteran receiving the Purple Heart. He worked at TMX Transport before retiring in 1977. He was a member of United Faith Presbyterian Church, Fort Wayne. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his wonderful wit and humor and he leaves many wonderful memories. He is survived by his daughters, Sharon (Ted Minnick) Schafianski and Judi (Dan) Wire, both of Fort Wayne; stepson, Fred (Karen) Wiegel of Coldwater, Mich.; grandchildren, Tonia Nolan, Thomas and Adam Schafianski, and Chase and Evan Wire; and six great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Jarrett, in 1975; second wife, Ellen Wiegel Jarrett, in 1996; and third wife, Ann Harding, in 2013; and son-in-law, Carl James Schafianski.
