CLIFFORD F. "CLIFF" SETSER, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away, Saturday, June 7, 2014. Born Sept. 28, 1930, in Richmond, Ind., he was the son of the late Calvin Monroe "Roe" and Thelma E. (Huckery) Setser. He was the Owner and Operator of Cliff Setser Motors. He was a member of Fort Wayne Racing Association, Star Racing Association, ASA, and ARCA as a chief steward official and was proud to have been inducted in to the Baerfield Raceways Hall of Fame in 2012. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, playing cards, and really anything that had wheels and went fast. Cliff was very proud of winning the prestigious Hoosier Super Stock 200 in 1966. Surviving family include his children, Carole (Mike) Kindler, Curtis (Vicki Lash) Setser, Calen (Maureen) Setser and Cathie (Bill) Huston; 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; brother, Fred (Meriam) Setser; and companion, Linda Fay. He was also preceded in passing by a son, Clifford F. Setser, Jr.; and a great granddaughter. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery.
