RONALD DALE HASTINGS, 56, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014, at home. Born in Muncie, Ind., he was a U.S. Marine Corp Vietnam Veteran who served our country for 25 years. He worked as a Maintenance Tech with GCS Eco Lab for six years. He was a member of Lifebridge Church and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling. Surviving are his wife, Karen; two sons, Steven Dale (Mary Elizabeth) Hastings of Fort Wayne and, Shane Hastings of Pierceton; two daughters, Heather (Jeremy) Bricker and Tanya (Thomas) Stratton both of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; mother, Shirley Rigby of Grover Hill. Ohio; sister, Carolyn Mosier of Grover Hill, Ohio; and brother, James Hastings of Lorton, Va. He was preceded in death by father, James Hastings. Funeral Service is 10 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2014 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to the family.
