ROGER A. PLOUGHE, 82, joined God on Sunday, June 22, 2014. Roger retired from Parker Hannifin. He was a lay leader for the United Methodist Church (U.M.C.) and on the district missions committee. Roger was a member of The Chapel and U.M.C. in Sun Lakes, Ariz., and leader of Explorers Post 2150 Boy Scouts. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served on the Honor Guard for President Eisenhower. Roger's passion was God and family. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, scouting, and canoeing. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Norma; daughters, Cheryl (Ron) Thiele, Lisa (Dave) McDonald and Laura (Mark) Ploughe; grandchildren, Marshall and Kyle Thiele and Angela Ploughe; great-granddaughter, Avery Thiele; and brother, Clyde. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill. Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2014, at The Chapel, 2505 W. Hamilton Road, with a gathering 1/2 hour prior.
