CURTIS F. CREAGER, 60, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014, surrounded by family at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home. He was born in Fort Wayne, March 22, 1954 a son of Curtis D. and Gloria J. Creager. Curt and Marge were married on Sept. 24, 1977. He owned and operated Independent Refrigeration Service for 32 years. Many of his clients also called him friend and valued his ability to fix anything. Most will remember Curt for his kind heart and selfless nature. His family will be forever grateful for his unconditional love, incredible strength and unwavering courage. He proved to be 'Curt Strong' to all who knew and loved him. Surviving are his wife, Marjorie (Morrell) Creager; his mother, Gloria J. (Bowerman) Creager; his four children, Chad (Michelle) Creager, Amy (Craig) Cumberland, Nathan (Angie) Creager, Amanda (Alan) Bunn; his nine beloved grandchildren, Evan, Jacob, Brady and Katie Creager, Casey Cumberland, Aubrey Creager, and Jayda, Maddox and Hadley Bunn; also surviving are his siblings, Carolyn (Richard) Alexander, Phyllis (Dale) Graves, Gail (Wayne) Lauer, Ted (Cindy) Creager, Cindy (Cal) McCartney, Kevin (Michele) Creager, and Rosetta (Frank) Walter, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis D. Creager; and brother, Foster K. Creager. Funeral Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday July 15, 2014 at the funeral home.
