PAMELA JO MEREDITH, 53, was called home to God's loving arms on Friday, July 18, 2014. "Pam was an angel He blessed all of us with to share her heartfelt love, her wonderful smile, her kindness, her generosity and her gentle caring touch." Born July 13, 1961, she was a daughter of the late Allen Nelson and Carol Nelson. Pam graduated from East Noble High School in 1979 and International Business College in 1982 with a degree in accounting. Pam owned and operated Epicurean Delights Sweet Shoppe for 12 years and was voted 'Best Desserts in Fort Wayne' in 1998. For the past seven years, she had worked as a bookkeeper at Kendallville Iron & Metal. Pam married Edward "Ed" R. Meredith on May 31, 1997, at St. John's Lutheran Church, in Kendallville. Pam and Ed met over 20 years ago when they greeted each other with "Hi" and a smile. They were in love from that moment on and had been happily married for 17 years. "She was a beautiful woman in the way she looked and in her heart and soul. Ed thought of Pam, not only as his wife, but as his best friend and she will be truly missed." She was an avid card player, she loved cooking, candy making and working in her flower garden. Pam will be sadly missed by her husband, Edward "Ed" R. Meredith of Fort Wayne; sisters, Rebecca (husband, Tom) Vice of Avilla and Regina (husband, Greg) Sturgis of Kendallville; mother-in-law, Betty Lou (Landis) Meredith of Hartford City; and several nieces and nephews. Pam will be cremated. Memorial service is 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at LaOtto Wesleyan Church, 500 South Main St., LaOtto (IN 46763), with her nephew, Rev. Tyler Ward of Pathway Community Church in Fort Wayne officiating Memorial visitation is from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at the church. Arrangements by Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N.
