ALICE R. WYSS, 87, of Monroeville, passed away 10:10 a.m. Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Adams Heritage Nursing Home in Monroeville. She was born Oct. 4, 1926 in Monroeville, a daughter of the late John F. and Violet (Whittern) Crabill. She married Ronald A. Wyss on Nov. 27, 1948 in St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville and he preceded her in death on March 5, 2006. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville and the Women's Guild of the church in addition to her membership in the American Legion Post 420 Auxiliary. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her daughters, Susan M. Wyss of Fort Wayne, Monica B. Corpus of Mays Landing, N.J., Roselyn M. (Duane) Doctor of Monroeville, Andrea M. (Darrel) Schuemann of Decatur, Jane M. (James) Corkery of Madison, Wis., Nancy C. (Vito) Coletto of Chicago, Ill., and Christine A. (Marc) Lechleitner of Hoagland; a son, Philip A. (Jennifer Dailey) Wyss of Fort Wayne; 19 grandchildren, Anthony Ternet, Patricia (fiance' John Heilman) Ternet, Rina Corpus, Mark Corpus, Jennifer Tippmann, Joy (Ken) Tippmann, Jacob Doctor, John Doctor, James (Ashley) Scheumann, David (Nicole) Scheumann, Danielle Scheumann, Justine Corkery, Andrew Corkery, Peter Corkery, Jack Coletto, Mia Coletto, Erika Lechleitner, Natalie Lechleitner, and Jerome Lechleitner; 10 great-grandchildren, Kenneth Tippmann, Hadley Tippmann, Landon Tippmann, Maria Tippmann, Lucia Tippmann, Megan Mooney, Amaya Mooney, Jamison Scheumann, Jace Scheumann, and Olivia Scheumann. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Joseph Ternet, Julian Wyss, and Gabriella Wyss; a brother, Norman Crabill; and sister, Roberta Hilton. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville, with a Prayer Service at 9:30 a.m. prior at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel. Fr. Lourdino Fernandes officiating. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, 111 South Water Street, Monroeville, Ind., with a Rosary Service at 4 p.m. Burial at St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Monroeville.
