CHRISTOPHER EUGENE BURCHAM (NICKELL), 21, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Chris graduated from North Side High School in 2011. He was currently working at Hires as a mechanic. "Chris always knew how to brighten a room. His loving, light hearted, funny sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him." He had a passion for riding his motorcycle, diesel trucks, and anything with a motor. Chris enjoyed going to rodeos, truck pulls, mudding, shooting with his grandpa, water sports, and wearing his cowboy boots. His love for his family was unwavering. Surviving are his mother, Ginger Burcham, sister, Tonie Burcham; father, Anthony Burcham; brother, Zachary Burcham; soul mate, Tess Wilke; stepdaughter, Vivian Grace Wilke; grandpa, Eugene Nickell; grandma, Evelyn Bennett; three uncles; one aunt; five cousins; and his pitbull, Bo. Service is 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. The Rev. David Mitchell officiating.
