LINDA L. BRESLER, 67, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Linda worked as a teachers aid with Whitley County Schools for 22 years, retiring in 2005. She enjoyed traveling and most of all, spending time with, and taking care of her family. Surviving are her husband, John Bresler; father, Herb (Lavada) Thornburg of Haddix, Ky.; daughters, Heather Beasley and Jill (Vester) Damron, both of Fort Wayne, and Angie (Brian) O'Connor of Crown Point, Ind.; son, Nate (Linda) Bresler of Powell, Tenn.; grandchildren, Morgan and Brooke Beasley, Savannah, Josie and Kennedy Bresler and Marisa and Mackenzie O'Connor; sisters, Diana McKinney of Tampa, Fla. and Paula (Mike) Thiele of Columbia City; half sisters, Joy Gribbins of Lexington, Ky. and Emily Costello of Haddix, Ky.; and stepsisters, Wendy Raleigh of Jackson, Ky. and Elesha Watts of Jackson, Ky. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Thornburg. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at the funeral home.
