BETTY BOISSENET, 89, passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at Provena Sacred Heart Home in Avilla. Born in Fort Wayne, Betty was a homemaker and a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Surviving are her daughter, Tammie (Chris) Fike of Hudson; son, Jim (Jan) Boissenet of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Jeff (Katrina) Moyer, James Moyer, Brooke Boissenet, Courtney (Mike) Walker, Jessica (James) Reilly, C.J. (Kayla) Fike, and Dan (Beth Ann) Mix; step-grandchildren, Chris DeLong, Kurt (Kim) DeLong, and Tim (Mindy) DeLong; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Joanne Gorell of Fort Wayne; sister, Patricia Nagel of Fort Wayne; brother-in-law, Jim Nagel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Wallace Boissenet; parents, George E. and Mary B. Barva; daughter, Mary Theresa Moyer; sister, Barbara Blair; brother, Jim Barva; sister, Mary Margert Boehme. Service is 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
