DAISY RUTH ALEXANDER-IVORY, died on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Born Sept. 10, 1945, in Selma, Ala., she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Leila Alexander. She gave her life to Jesus Christ at an early age at Sandridge Baptist Church in Selma. In the summer of 1973, she moved to Fort Wayne. She was a mother of four sons, Garrett Dwayne, Virgil Lee, Cedric Antonio, and Christopher Devon Alexander. "Daisy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother." She was a great woman of faith and was deeply committed to the Lord Jesus Christ. She believed in worshiping God in song and praise. Homegoing service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at Wings of Deliverance T.H.C., 2502 Fairfield Ave., Fort Wayne (IN 46807). Viewing is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at the church.
