JUNE L. (ZERN) PATTERSON, 90, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at Providence Retirement Home. Born in Fort Wayne, she was an art therapist assistant at Lifespring and worked in home healthcare for many years. June was a member of the C.R.I.T. Club, a volunteer at the Floyd County Museum and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, Jack (Katie) Patterson and Jay Patterson; four daughters, Jill Patterson, Jann Mayville, Joye Patterson (Donnie Nichol), and Jina (Mark) Lawrence; one brother, Donald (Janet) Zern; two sisters, Sharon Holland and Judy Zern; and four grandchildren, Lindy, Paige, Joshua, and Greg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Patterson; brother, Galen Zern; and son-in-law, Lee Mayville. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at D.O McComb & Son Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
