NICHOLAS "NICK" D. SNARE, 18, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at Hamilton Lake. Born in Fort Wayne, currently resided in Peoria, Ill. He enjoyed snowmobiling, water sports and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He is survived by his loving mother, Carol A. Snare of Peoria, Ill.; father, Michael D. Snare of Indiana; beloved sister, Brianna Maroney of Peoria, Ill.; half brother, Brandon; half sister, Teia; maternal grandmother, Mary Dornick of Fort Wayne; paternal grandfather, Robert (Estella) Snare of Hamilton; special uncle, William (Tawny) Snare of Leo; other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Dornick. Service is 7 p.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Pastor Norm Conklin officiating.
