DENNIS W. ELLIS, 38, suddenly and unexpectedly was called to Heaven Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the "go to man" at Indiana Stamp the past nine years. He enjoyed playing guitar for the band "EllisD" and loved all music. Surviving are his fiancee, Bobbie Jo Craig of Fort Wayne; father, David Ellis of Fort Wayne; son, James Ellis of Fort Wayne; daughter, Breann Ellis of Fort Wayne; and sister, Toni Ellis of Fort Wayne; aunts and uncles, Laura (John) Hawk of Fort Wayne, Carla (Oscar) Stiver-Brazzan of Houston, Texas, Dan (Lisa) Rowdabaugh and Don (Marty) Rowdabaugh, both of Poe, Michael Stiver and Brian Stiver, both of Fort Wayne, Gary (Mickie) Becker and Tom (Eve) Becker, both of Fort Wayne, Angie (Ed) Price of Sorrento, Fla., Duane (Beatty) Brockmeyer of Orlando, Fla.; and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Crystal Ellis. Service is 2 p.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior.
