STEPHEN "STEVE" C. BALDRIDGE, 51 of Antwerp, formerly of Findlay, Ohio, passed away Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011, 7:41 a.m., at Defiance Hospice In-Patient Center, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was formerly employed at Ball Metal Container Group in Findlay, then became a Big Game Hunting Guide in Alaska and Idaho before finally being employed by Kone Elevator in Fort Wayne. He has left many loving friends wherever he has been. He had a lifelong love of animals, raising and racing homing pigeons as a hobby, and training many hunting dogs, the last of which were Kate and Abby who were the lights of his life. Surviving are his heartbroken parents, Charles and Doris (Tucker) Baldridge; and his sisters, Regina Baldridge of Mesa, Ariz. and Rhonda (Tim) Wood of Chandler, Ariz.; and brother, Jeff Baldridge of Chandler, Ariz. Memorial service is 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011 at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, 205 West Sandusky St., Findlay, Ohio with visitation beginning one hour prior. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in Stephen's memory be made to Defiance Hospice In-Patient Center, 6817 State Route 66N, Defiance, OH 43512.
