CAROL ENGLERT

CAROL ENGLERT, 60, passed away on Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, at Parkview Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, she work-ed as a bookkeeper with Brockman Furnace Company for 20 years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of American Legion Post 202, in Butler, Ind. and attended church at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo, and her trips to the casino but most of all following her grandchildren's school activities. She loved her family and cherished all her grandchildren. Surviving are her mother, Alice Boldt of Fort Wayne; sons, Jeffrey C. (Kim) Englert and Jamie A. (Rochelle) Englert, both of Fort Wayne; brother, Gary (Lois) Boldt of Fort Wayne; sisters, Debra (Ron) Grassi of Denver, Colo. and Beverly Falconer of Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Peggy Boldt; grandchildren, Justin, Ashley, Cara, Sean, Evann, Mason Englert, Kyle, Kaley, and Kelsey Vandermotten; and one great-grandson, Rylan Vandermotten. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Boldt; brother, Ronald Boldt; and sister, Diana Bowers. Service is 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Phil Emerson officiating.
