CORDELIA C. HENLINE, 94, of Fort Wayne, died on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Lutheran Life Villages. Born July 2, 1917, in Des Moines, Iowa, she was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Ladies Aide and various church activities. She was active in the Fort Wayne Newcomers Group "Encore". She worked for Farm Bureau in Iowa. Surviving are her children, William D. Henline, Cynthia (Hugo) Ernst, Richard (Teda) Henline, Mark Henline, and Cheryl (Neal) Johnson; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Eloise Peterson, Dorothy Vogel and Irma Queck. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. William Henliine; son, James; and sister, Helen. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2012, at the funeral home. Entombment in Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Preferred memorials to Lutheran Hour or Worship for Shut-Ins.
