DELBERT H. LOGAN, 91, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he work ed as a machinist with General Electric for 40 years, retiring in 1980. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a POW in World War II and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was also a member of American Legion Post 499 and Praise Lutheran Church. Surviving are his son, Dan (Maryanne) Logan of Fort Wayne; grandson, Buff (Kathy) Dormeier of Fort Wayne; three granddaughters, Tiffany (Tim) Leininger of Brownsburg, Ind., Ashley (Nick) Hollingshead of Oceanside, Calif. and Angie; six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline; daughter, Linda; parents, Dea and Elnora; two sisters; and two brothers. Service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Praise Lutheran Church, 1115 W. Dupont Road w/ calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at D.O.
