THOMAS DONALDSON WALKER, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012. A native of Detroit, Mich., he was the son of the late Thomas D. and Joan Walker. Tom was an Eagle Scout and a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from a career in radio and sales. He had a puppet ministry entertaining pediatric patients at Parkview Hospital for many years. He was a member of Blackhawk Baptist Church. He is survived by a son, Thomas D. (Pamela) Walker of Germantown, Tenn.; daughters, Sharon Walker (Richard Porter) of Stone Mountain, Ga., Lynn Walker (Ross Waddell) of Fort Wayne, Sandra (Mark) Morgan of Calhoun, Ga., Catherine Walker of Fort Wayne, and Joy Walker of Calhoun, Ga.; grandchildren, James Porter, Benjamin Porter, Brandon Porter, Molly Waddell, Patrick Waddell, Ivan Morgan, Reannon Wright, and Zachary Walker; and six great-grandchildren, Jodi, Alyssa, Billy, Aedan, James, and Ethan. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Helen Koenke Walker; and sister, Margarate Bamford. Memorial service is noon Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Grace Christian Church, 2727 Reed Road, Fort Wayne. Memorials to Maranatha Bible Conference (Muskegon, Mich.) or Blackhawk Ministries.
