JUDY ANN CHENEY, 71, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, in her home surrounded by her family. Born Feb. 16, 1941, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Alvin H. and Rita Mensing Heine. She retired from OCLC (Online Computer Library Center). She attended New Haven High School, and was a graduate of Huntertown High School and The Ohio State University. She was a member Mary Penrose Wayne Chapter of the DAR; First Families of Allen County, Indiana; Homesteaders of Allen County, Indiana; Ohio Genealogical Society; Palatines to America; and Ohio Historical Society. She is survived by three sons; six grandchildren; brother, John Heine of Woodburn; and sister, Marsha Baltes of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Cheney; brother, William Heine; and ex-husband, Sheridan D. Artz. Memorial service 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St., Worthington, Ohio. Burial is 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at Marion Cemetery, 620 Delaware Ave., Marion, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Judy's honor to a charity of donor's choice.
