DONALD L. "ROCKY" GINDER, 76, of Fort Wayne, died on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at his home. Born Feb. 21, 1936, in Butler, Ind., he was a son of the late Earl and Gwendo leen (Spiers) Ginder. He graduated from Eastside High School in 1954 and served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was first married to Sara Pearl Reidenbach; she preceded him in death on Feb. 27, 1980. He later married Brenda Ann Brock on Feb. 12, 1984 at the Indian Village United Methodist Church near Cromwell. Don was a painting contractor and owned Tri-State Decorating of Fort Wayne for more than 30 years. He was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne where he served on various committees as well as worked with the church food pantry and traveled on many mission trips. "Don was a generous and talented man, always willing to help someone in need." Survivors include his spouse, Rev. Brenda Ginder of Fort Wayne; sons, Franklin Ginder and U.S. Army Spc. Wilson Ginder, both of Fort Wayne, Duane (Robin) Ginder of Columbia City, and Brian (Ann) Ginder of Fort Wayne; daughter, Nanci (Bruce) Hall of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren, Melissa (Matt) Bentsen of Lake Zurich, Ill., Josh and Justin Ginder, both Fort Wayne, Tyler Amstutz of Fort Wayne, Erica Holloway of Louisville, Ky., Alysa Holloway of Fort Wayne, Sarah Holloway and Trevor Holloway, both of Columbia City; one great-grandson, Joshua Bentsen; sister, Marilyn Yoder of Fort Wayne; brother, Phil (Carolyn) Ginder of Huntertown; sister, Carol (Howard) Krontz of Kendallville; and brother, Dennis (Pam) Ginder of Leo. Memorial service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at Forest Park United Methodist Church, 2100 Kentucky Ave., Fort Wayne, with a gathering of family and friends before the service from 10 to 11 a.m. The Rev.
