M. GERTRUDE NELSON, 94, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Woodcrest Nursing Home, Decatur. A native of Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Carl R. and Mary N. Wolf. She was a homemaker and worked at Hickory Farms for 30 years. She is survived by her son, Ron (Sara) Nelson; sister, Bonnie G. Wolf; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Timothy (Jennifer); and three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Francis Nelson, in 1999; and siblings, James R. Wolf and Allma Goeglein. Funeral service is noon Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 10 to noon prior to service.
