MASON PAUL PERRY, 22, of Snow Lake, Fremont, Ind., passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind. Mason was born in Fort Wayne on July 18, 1990, the son of Matthew and Jill (Sylvester) Perry. He lived his life at the lake and graduated from Fremont High School in 2009. He played in the Fremont Middle School Band, and was a member of the Spanish Honor Society at Fremont High School. After high school Mason became a self-employed author. "Fighting the most courageous battle through his lifetime, no questions were ever asked, no complaints were ever made. A true inspiration to every person he encountered with quick wit and humor, and intelligence at the highest level. He was fiercely strong with a love for animals, music, and the lake. He was always more concerned with other people's happiness, he had a gift for making people laugh and putting others first. We could not be more grateful for his presence in our lives, as he gave us purpose." Surviving are his parents, Jill and Matthew Perry of Snow Lake , Fremont, Ind.; two sisters, Megan Perry of Fort Wayne, and Morgan Perry of Indianapolis, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Rikki Treesh of Fort Wayne; and grandmother, Nigel Perry of Fort Wayne; and a niece, Gillian Smith; step-grandmother, Doris Perry of Bradenton, Fla. He was preceded In death by a sister, Lindsey M. Perry; grandparents, Raymond and Helen Sylvester; and a grandfather, Gordon Perry. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Ind., with calling one hour prior. Rev. Randall Schroeder officiating.
