HUMBERTO "AL" F. GUEVARA, 80, passed away on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at New Haven Care & Rehabilitation, New Haven. Born in Brady, Texas, Humberto worked as a Senior Mfg Engineer / Div Trainer with ITT for 42 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven; volunteer and on the Board of Directors at the Botanical Conservatory; officer with the Board of Directors at ITT Employee Federal Credit Union; and member of American Legion Post 330 in New Haven. Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years, Juanita Guevara of Indiana; sons, Alexander (Ann) Guevara of Cary, N.C., Richard (Chastity) Guevara of Arizona City, Ariz., Robert (Terri) Guevara of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Thomas (Kati) Guevara of Bloomington, Ind.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Ernest (Shirley) Guevara of Fort Wayne, Adrian (Judy) Guevara of Cabin Creek, W.Va., Arthur (Barbara) Guevara and Bill (Kym) Guevara, both of Fort Wayne; and sisters, Sylvia (Mac) Moreno of Oakdale, Calif., Patricia Guevara of Fort Wayne and Lucy (Patrick) Tully of Gila, N.M. He was preceded in death by his parents, Candelario and Josephine Guevara; three brothers; and one sister. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven, with calling one hour prior. Fr. James Seculoff officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave, with Rosary recited at 2:30 p.m. Entombment in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
