MICHAEL L. "MIKE" HOGG, 69, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a graduate of South Side High School, Class of 1961 and served in the U.S. Navy. Mike worked as a Route Salesman with Continental Baking Company for 30 years, retiring in 1996. He was also an usher with the Tin Caps Organization. Mike was a member of McMillen Park Lions Club and the Stonefield Community Assocation. He was a docent at Lincoln Museum for four years, and at the National Military History Museum, Auburn. Surviving are his wife, Judy A. Hogg of Fort Wayne: son, Steven K. (Beth) Hogg of Fort Wayne: stepson, Robert A. (Julia) Hoffman of Indianapolis: stepdaughters, Angela S. (Gregg) Tarr of Fort Wayne, Vicky L. (Chris) Childres of Chagrin Falls, Ohio and Teresa M. (Natalie) Jones of New York, N.Y.; grandchildren, Brittany, Kile and Kaitlyn Hogg, Emily Ream, James and Benjamin Tarr, Cole, Gus and Laney Childres, and Liam and Mila Hoffman; and sister, Dixie L. (Bob) Johnson of Pleasanton, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Vera A. Hogg; and son, Robert M. Hogg. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Dr. Kathleen Haller officiating. Calling also from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
