BENJAMIN H. "BEN" WELDON, 83, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at Cedars Nursing Home in Leo. Born in Steuben County, Ind., Benjamin worked as a Tool and Manufacturing Engineer with Tokheim Corporation for 36 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of Leo United Methodist Church, U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, Huntertown Masonic Lodge No. 689, F & A.M; Fort Wayne Valley of Scottish Rite; York Rite; Mizpah Shrine, Mizaph Shrine Band; Churubusco Eastern Star Chapter No. 136, Early Ford V8 Club of America; S.P.A.A.M.F.A.A.; A.S.T.M.E; past 4-H Horse and Pony Leader and played the Trumpet in a Variety of Bands. Surviving are a brother, Felix N. Weldon of Garrett; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jacqueline R. Weldon in 1981; second wife, Marilyn Weldon in 2008; and third wife, Joan (Budzon) Weldon in 2012; parents, Benjamin H. and Medise L. (Goepp) Weldon. Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2012 at Leo United Methodist Church, 13527 Leo Rd., Leo, Ind., with calling one hour prior. Rev. David Heim officiating. Calling also from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, with a Masonic Memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Burial in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Garrett, Ind.
