PAUL A. LEAMON, 82, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at his residence in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Paul was a 1949 graduate of Central High School and a 1956 graduate of International College, Fort Wayne. He was a U.S. Marine Corps. veteran; Past President of Northeastern Indiana Athletic Officials Association 1967-1968; Past Treasurer 1968-1976 and attended Grace Point Church of the Nazarene. He was an accountant with Miller Enterprises retiring in 1978. Surviving are his wife, Doris J. Leamon of Fort Wayne; daughter, Patricia (Dean) Gloy of Sahuarita, Ariz; four grandchildren, Kristen (Ron) Shultis, Kerry Leamon, Hogan Gloy and Henley Gloy; daughter-in-law, Karen Leamon of Auburn, Ga.; brother, Joe (Sandy) Leamon of Angola; sister, Joan Patton of Fort Wayne; sister, Naomi (Harold) Jewett of Fort Wayne; sister, Greta (Gene) Stricker of Fredericktown, Ohio; sister, Martha (Loren) Powers of New Haven; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Kenneth and Mary (Plumley) Leamon; son, Kevin Leamon and son, Steven Michael Leamon. Funeral Service is 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Brain Cancer Research.
