MICHAEL EDWIN REINKING

MICHAEL EDWIN REINKING, 42, was welcomed into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014. Born in Fort Wayne, he attended Northrop High School and graduated from I.U. Bloomington with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. Mike enjoyed being the life of the party and entertaining his family and friends with his humorous character impersonations. He worked at Transamerica. Mike is "forever loved and never forgotten" by his family and a host of lifelong friends who were there for him always. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Lana and Ava Reinking; their mother, Jennifer of Westfield, Ind.; his mother, Sharon (Tim) Miller of Fort Wayne; brother, Bradley (Monica) Reinking of Westfield, Ind.; sister, Rochelle (Jeffrey) Leach; nephews and nieces, Mason, Coleson and Gabrielle Leach of Stanley, N.C.; and his grandmother, Helen Armstrong. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Reinking; grandfather, Herman Armstrong; and grandparents, Paul and Frieda Reinking. Memorial service is 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2014 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 14318 Lima Road, Fort Wayne. A celebration of life reception will follow at 5:30 p.m. at The Third Place Gym, 1601 W. Cedar Canyon Road, (SE corner of Cedar Canyon and Lima Roads), where all are welcome and encouraged to join us.
