We lived next door to Glen from the time I was born until I was 12. My father worked for Glen as a vending machine operator and repairman for much of that time. He was the closet thing to a godfather I ever had! I use skills I learned from him every day. Among many things, chief on the list would be phone skills. Dad was "home office" (working from the house) 50 years before that became the norm! I was not allowed to answer our phone ( originally a party line (Sherood 747) ) until I could answer a phone correctly with clients the most common call. And I had to be able to take a message so Glen's customers were properly serviced. He wood have fit in well in Texas ( my adopted home) he was great of heart and spirit and a valued member of the Marler extended family! Our best to Daughter Diane and Brian and his family . Brian,
I share your sorrow with empathy and fondness. Losing a parent is a painful adjustment to a new normal that never again feels quite the same. I wish you and your family peace.

Thoughts and prayers to the family of this dear, sweet man I was so lucky to know. I talked to him many times and he was such a caring person with a heart full of love. May he rest in peace and have a grand time in Heaven with all his dear friends and family, including my beautiful grandma, Martha Stolte who passed away late last year.
