CELESTE M. MOMMER

CELESTE M. MOMMER, 92, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015, in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Recovery, Ohio, Celeste loved serving her family as a homemaker. Celeste was a member of the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. She was also a member of Daughters of Isabella. Surviving are her children, Larry Mommer of Fort Wayne, Iris Mommer of Waterloo, Ind., Terry Mommer and Mark Mommer, both of Fort Wayne; sister, Ruth Brandt of Fort Wayne; and grandson, Joshua Rigby of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sumner Mommer; son, Gerald Mommer; and parents, Leo and Cecilia Noggler. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1122 S. Calhoun St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2015, at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 South Calhoun St., with a rosary service at 2:30 p.m. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
